With Bryson DeChambeau taking the week off, Justin Thomas takes over the top spot as the betting favorite on the PGA Tour. Thomas owns 10/1 odds to win the Workday Charity Open, according to golfodds.com, as the Tour sets up shop at Muirfield Village for the first of back-to-back weeks at Jack Nicklaus’ place.
It’s been feast or famine for Thomas at Muirfield Village, with two top-10 finishes in the last three years. He also has three missed cuts in his six starts, so there have been some consistency issues for him in Dublin.
Jon Rahm sits just behind Thomas at 12/1 odds. Rahm was one of the hottest players on the planet before golf’s hiatus, but he’s been rather pedestrian since the restart. Last year’s Memorial winner Patrick Cantlay sits in third at 14/1. And although this is technically a different tournament from the Memorial, he’s certainly comfortable with the course.
Rounding out the top five are Brooks
Koepka and Hideki Matsuyama, each with 16/1 odds.
