4 refreshing summer cocktails to carry along on the course

We’ve made it to Friday!

Time to text your foursome and plan a happy hour twilight round to kick off the weekend. Below are four easy cocktails you can sip along the way.

Margarita

A classic summer staple that tastes great before, during or after your round, and only requires three simple ingredients.

-2 oz. of your favorite tequila (or mezcal)
-1.5 oz. of orange liquor like Cointreau or Triple sec
-1 oz. of freshly squeezed lime juice

Transfusion

The ultimate golf cocktail that’s equal parts refreshing and delicious.

-1.5 oz. of your favorite vodka
-2 oz. of ginger ale
-1 oz. of grape juice
-0.25 oz of lime juice

Lime Vodka Spritz

A personal favorite for a hot summer day with just the right amount of bubbles.

-2 oz. of vodka
-2 oz of limeade
-Splash of club soda

Bloody Mary

My grandma drinks exclusively bloodies when she plays golf and swears the tomato juice gives her energy. If it works for her, I’d say its worth a shot.

-1.5 oz. of vodka
-0.5 oz. of freshly squeezed lemon juice
-3 oz. of tomato juice
-Salt
-Pepper
-Tabasco
-Worcestershire sauce
-Maybe even throw in a few olives, a celery stick, a pickle, some Old Bay — do what feels right!
