Find the 18 things WRONG with this iconic Masters photo

Everything is just right. Each year at the Masters, Augusta’s green jackets are intent to make that the case. Hordes of grounds crew workers are imported to hand-comb the bunkers and coax each blade of grass into its most impeccably pruned version of itself. Pimento cheese sandwiches are given Michelin treatment. The azaleas appear to be perfumed.

The players, caddies and patrons are expected to do their part too. If you want the privilege of being at the Masters, know going in that there are rules to follow.

Even so, things occasionally go wrong. At last year’s tournament, falling trees near the 16th tee nearly reduced the notoriously long Masters tickets wait list by a few patrons. And torrential rains in 2019, the year of Tiger’s stunning comeback win, turned pathways between holes into mudslides worthy of Woodstock ’94.

But the imperfections are usually imperceptible — unless you’re looking for them.
