The networking power of golf, according to a Hollywood star

Golf is a game that brings people together. No matter your age, gender or race, when you step on the first tee box, everyone has one common goal — get the ball in the hole. This common bond can bring people together, and that’s a fact that actor Jamie Dornan knows well.

On this week’s episode of Off Course with Claude Harmon, Doran explained how golf has helped him connect with people from an assortment of backgrounds.

“Golf is a huge [in],” Dornan told Harmon. “There’s usually an in. I’m sitting beside this dude who’s a 60-year-old billionaire who owns this studio that I’m doing this movie for, where I’m like, ‘Do you like golf?’ And everything else is taken away.”

Although two people might have little in common, the bond of golf can connect them in a way that little else can, Dornan said.
