Both of Korda’s wins this season have come in playoffs.
“Every win there is always a story of what you’re overcoming or going through,” she said on Sunday. “I never back down. I make sure I give it my all 110 percent every single time, no matter what the circumstances are. If I messed up or if I’ve finished eagle-birdie, when you step on that tee in the first playoff hole, it’s time to go. It’s all fresh and new.”
Here is a closer look at the clubs Korda has used in her wins this season.
Driver: TaylorMade Qi10 Max (Mitsubishi Diamana GT60 S), 10.5 degrees
TaylorMade Qi10 Max Custom Driver
The higher the inertia the more forgiving the driver. Introducing the Qi10 Max driver, experience TaylorMade speed with the forgiveness of 10K inertia.
BUILT FOR FORGIVENESS & STABILITY
The Qi10 Max features a shallower head shape that extends from front-to-back and significantly increases inertia by allowing mass to be placed further away from the center of the clubhead.
NEW INFINITY CARBON CROWN
An Infinity Carbon Crown covers 97% of the total crown area, creating a strategic advantage for mass redistribution and enhanced forgiveness. At address, it delivers a sleek and clean view that pairs with subtle alignment cues, setting the stage for confidence and success.
3-wood: TaylorMade Stealth 2,(Fujikura Ventus Red 7S shaft), 15 degrees
TaylorMade Stealth 2 Custom Fairway Wood
ADVANCED INVERTED CONE TECHNOLOGY
Variable face thickness is engineered to maximize ball speed across the face while maintaining playability in a confidence inspiring shape.
ULTRA LOW-CG DESIGN
Center of gravity is positioned lower compared to the original Stealth™ Fairway, delivering a more centered CG projection for better performance off the deck without sacrificing distance. To accomplish this feat, engineers lowered CG by placing a heavy internal mass toward the rear of the club and lowering the crown by 2mm.
3D CARBON CROWN
3D carbon crown pulls mass away from the high toe area, allowing more weight to be positioned rearward for optimal forgiveness and maximum playability.
V STEEL™ SOLE DESIGN
This iconic TaylorMade technology stays true to its heritage by improving turf interaction and versatility.
ADVANCED LASER ALIGNMENT
Providing visual contrast between face and crown, the laser etched aid is designed to highlight directional alignment for boosted confidence and accurate aim.
THRU-SLOT SPEED POCKET
Our flexible Speed Pocket™ design is engineered to maximize ball speeds and produce additional forgiveness on low-face strikes.
With precision playability and a hint of forgiveness, P·7MC caters to the game’s best ball strikers. These irons will celebrate all the work you’ve put in to get to this point and be the perfect tool for the continued grind.
FORGING TOWARDS PERFECTION
TaylorMade’s Compact Grain Forging™ process uses 2,000 tons of pressure, more than double the industry standard. The additional force gives us precision control at a micro level and produces a tighter grain structure, creating the best possible feel.
INSPIRED BY TOUR
The tour-inspired P·7MC™ fits the eye of discerning players. With minimal offset and perimeter weighting, this classically shaped iron delivers the ultimate in control and precision with a hint of forgiveness.
REFINED CRAFTSMANSHIP
Compact Grain Forging delivers a refined composition inside and out. The sophisticated craftsmanship comes to life with a satin finish and forged “Metal-T” within the cavity back, creating the unmistakable aesthetic of a premium TaylorMade iron.
Milled Grind 4 utilizes laser etched Spin Tread and a raw face to provide better bite around the greens and superior spin in wet conditions. Refined shaping creates a smooth aesthetic that inspires creativity around the greens, while improved mass distribution provides a solid feel.
IMPROVED SPIN IN WET CONDITIONS
Spin Tread technology utilizes laser etching to channel away moisture and help retain spin in wet conditions. The same way that tire treads help your car stay connected to the road, Spin Tread redirects water at impact and creates more friction between the club face and golf ball to impart more spin than prior generations.
REFINED SHAPING
MG4 features refinements in shape and visual appeal with a focus on what players perceive at address. Details from the hosel blend, offset and leading-edge straightness were all inspired by the insights and preferences of the best players and most experienced designers. Compared to the previous MG3, MG4 showcases a slightly larger footprint that provides players with a sense of roundness, smoothness and improved ease of use.
RAW FACE & NEW FINISH
There’s a reason raw wedges are preferred by the game’s best players. The unplated material will rust over time to preserve consistent spin while also delivering better performance in wet conditions. A new refined finish with a slightly darker tint minimizes glare and blends seamlessly with the raw face for a unified appearance.
For his latest evolution of the world’s finest milled blade putters, Scotty Cameron builds upon the Tour-proven success of 2020’s Special Select line and introduces his new Super Select models in 2023. Based on feedback from the game’s best players—and with constant design refinement at his San Diego County Putter Studio—Scotty has pushed his blade and mid-mallet designs even further with better performance, new milling capabilities, refined shapes, improved multi-material construction and cutting-edge weight distribution to deliver a Select line superior to any before it. The result—Super Select. Ten models comprise the new 2023 Super Select line, which will be introduced in two worldwide releases.Refined for 2023 with a new precision sculpted, Tour-inspired I-beam plumbing neck, Scotty’s new dual-milled face technology and the line’s new-look machined cherry bombs, the Super Select Squareback 2 is a forgiving mid-mallet welcomed by players looking for the crisp, alignment-promoting lines of this perennial performer. With a solid milled putter face and an integrated 6061 aluminum sole plate that allows for higher MOI with more weight in the heel, toe and perimeter, the Super Select Squareback 2 has stainless steel sole weights for stability and includes the line’s new shaft band, headcover and textured Pistolini Plus grip.
NEW I-BEAM PLUMBING NECK
The new, precision sculpted neck designs give each model a racier, industrial look, but also allow for the removal and targeted repositioning of weight from the neck to the heel and toe of the putter head. This, coupled with a strategically placed notch on the models with plumbing necks—positioned for precise lie adjustments—and Scotty’s larger signature milled dots in the pocket, allowed additional weight to be meticulously redistributed for improved performance.
DUAL-MILLED FACE TECHNOLOGY
Combining the legendary softness of deep-milled putters with the feedback and roll of mid-milled offerings, Scotty’s new dual-milled face technology brings tour-inspired feel to a new level.
MULTI-MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION
The Super Select Squareback 2 extends Scotty Cameron’s proven construction methodology of incorporating complementary materials to achieve desired performance characteristics. Each ‘Plus’ model employs a precision milled 6061 aircraft grade aluminum sole plate expertly designed into the 303 stainless steel putter head, which allows for proper weight distribution, balance and feel.
ACCESSORIES
Each Super Select model has a specific grip, designed to not only provide each putter’s proper swing weight and balance, but also to offer the right in-hand feel. The Newport, Newport 2, and new Plus models come equipped with a textured Pistolini Plus grip, a smaller design with a thicker, more substantial feel through the lower part of the grip. This grip is paired with the blade-style putters, while a new, textured Pistolero Plus grip has been paired with the mid-mallets and Del Mar. The Squareback 2, Fastback 1.5, Del Mar, GOLO 6 and GOLO 6.5 each come with a Pistolero Plus grip that carries through the line’s color scheme and includes a modern dark grey on black look that gives this new line a more modern character. When comparing grips, the Pistolero Plus has a larger profile in the top hand location near the butt of the grip and is also slightly heavier and provides the appropriate complement to the mid-mallet putters’ head shapes. The Super Select Squareback 2 is a wider–bodied, angular mid–mallet with higher MOI, a solid milled putter face and an integrated 6061 aluminum sole plate with stainlesssteel sole weights, a refined I–beam plumbing neck and dual–milled face technology.
