Covid-19 may have put any purchasing ideas you had in March on hold. Now, it’s game on, and time to reassess your equipment needs. So, we’ve compiled the “Best in Show” from ClubTest 2020 to give you a refresher. These clubs are bold and beautiful, like the game itself. In this edition, we highlight Ping’s Glide 3.0 wedges.

Why We Love It

Ping Glide 3.0 wedges

Ping’s familiar Glide series wedges got a complete overhaul for this, its third generation.

They have more offset now due to Tour player feedback, more perimeter-weighting for better forgiveness, and they have a softer insert material for, well, a softer feel. Also, and more importantly for some, Ping brought back an Eye2 version. That’s right, Ping’s historic, high-toed shape is on the market once again.

Why I Play It

“I really like the versatility of the Glide 3.0 wedges. It’s predictable how the ball is going to react out of different lies, and that’s half the battle when it comes to the short game.” — PGA Tour pro Viktor Hovland
