Bettinardi Golf has released the latest version of its forged wedges.

Bettinardi Golf

It’s equipment release season, and the new clubs just keep on coming.

The latest release is from Bettinardi Golf, which unveiled its new HLX 6.0 forged wedges.

The HLX 6.0 are the latest wedges from a company that made its name by crafting precision-milled putters. Bettinardi has been slowly expanding into the wedge and iron realm, and the HLX 6.0 is the company’s newest take on its forged wedge line.

Here are three things to know about Bettinardi Golf’s HLX 6.0 forged wedges:

Carbon steel

The HLX 6.0 wedges have a 1020 forged carbon steel head which provides a soft and responsive feel.

“By forging our HLX 6.0 Wedges from soft carbon steel instead of casting, we deliver the premium feel that both consumers and Tour players expect from the Bettinardi name,” Robert Bettinardi, CEO and founder of Bettinardi Golf, said in a press release. “Since launching our forged wedge line in 2014, each generation has continued to advance with new finishes, lofts, grinds, and cutting-edge technology, solidifying Bettinardi as a trusted leader in the wedge category.”

The forged carbon steel head allows for improved turf interaction and ball feedback.

The HLX 6.0 wedges come with a refined RJ grind that gives the wedges more relief in the heel and toe.

Helix Cut grooves

In order to deliver the spin, control and precision players require out of their wedges, Bettinardi Golf gave the HLX 6.0 forged wedges the latest iteration of their Helix Cut grooves.

Bettinardi’s HLX 6.0 forged wedges come with tighter groove spacing, which gives them more spin and promotes a lower launch trajectory.

Options, price, and availability

Bettinardi Golf offers its HLX 6.0 forged wedges in chrome and graphite PVD finishes. They are available for right and left-handed golfers.

You can pre-order the HLX 6.0 forged irons starting January 22. They will be available for $199 beginning February 20.
