The Titleist and Footjoy family of brands are chipping in for COVID-19 relief.
Over the past month or so, we’ve seen individuals, communities and companies across the globe step up to support organizations that are fighting coronavirus. Specifically in the golf industry, we’ve witnessed charitable efforts from apparel brands, club manufacturers and golf courses themselves. Even Tour pros have joined in on the action.
While we’d all much prefer to be out on the course celebrating the start of the golf season and soaking in the spring weather, it’s comforting to see our favorite sport make a positive impact in communities around the world.
The Titleist and FootJoy family of brands recently launched a charity golf auction appropriately named Chipping In for COVID-19 Relief. The auction is similar to what we’ve seen from the social media fueled Fanatics ALL-IN challenge, but is strictly golf focused. They’re featuring 12 once-in-a-lifetime experiences with some of the most notable personalities in golf such as Mike and Justin Thomas, Jim Nantz, Bob Vokey and Butch Harmon. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the CDP COVID-19 Response Fund, the United Way and the Golf Emergency Relief Fund.
Bidding kicked off today and auctions are open until 9 p.m. on April 30th. Click here to see the entire list of experiences, get in on the action and raise money for charity!
