For the fourth day of Fully Fit 2026, the Cobra team brought out its new 3DP irons, OPTM metalwoods — and great vibes.

Welcome to Fully Fit 2026, GOLF’s new platform for providing you with real-golfer insights into what 2026 gear might be best suited for your game. To this end, we assembled six GOLF content creators of varying abilities and ran them through the gauntlet of six full-bag fittings (driver to putter!) at six major club manufacturers in Phoenix and Carlsbad, Calif. Our hope: that you might see shades of your own game in one of our panelists’ and take some learnings and inspiration from their fitting experiences.
Day 4 of Fully Fit at Cobra was one of the team’s most anticipated days, and for a multitude of reasons.
For one, Cobra brings the high-energy vibes. With the team at Cobra, you know you’re going to have a good time, especially with fitters Andrew Lusty, Perry Dickey and director of tour operations Ben Schomin, who joined us for the day. They even had wedge and putter design lead Chad DeHart fitting wedges and putters.
It was a beautiful setting at the back of the range at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, where Cobra stationed its old Tour Truck to serve as a primary outdoor fitting facility. For the second day in a row, we got views of the Pacific Ocean as we put the latest golf clubs through their paces.
And thirdly, the product had plenty to be excited about.
Jake, Johnny and I were all anxious to get fitted for a set of Cobra’s new 3DP irons. This was the second time we had seen them, but now we actually got to dial them in.
Johnny and Ben quickly realized the forgiveness on a set of 3DP Tours was going to be unmatched, and they were giddy at how easily he hit them.

The KING 3D Printed TOUR irons utilize 3D printing technology to unlock a new realm of performance. Their one of a kind design features the most forgiving blade shape on the market, delivering the forgiveness that aspirational players need, and the sleek looks and soft feel that better players desire.
3D PRINTED STEEL CONSTRUCTION
Each iron is fully 3D printed from 316 stainless steel. 3D printing provides significant advantages over traditional methods of casting and forging, unlocking more design freedom and significant performance improvements.
FORGIVING PLAYERS BLADE SHAPE
3D printing has unlocked new design possibilities, enabling COBRA engineers to create a compact blade shape with the mass properties (high MOI, low CG) of a game improvement iron without sacrificing looks and soft feel that better players demand.
INTERNAL LATTICE STRUCTURE
COBRA took a muscle-back blade shape (similar in size and shape to the KING TOUR iron), and transformed the inside of the blade into a complex internal lattice structure to reduce the weight of the club by 33%. That discretionary weight was repositioned to optimize feel, CG position, and MOI.
When getting fit for the 3DP MBs, Jake and I both came in thinking we would be in one shaft, but that wasn’t the case. I’ve been a longtime user of the Project X 6.5 shaft, but Andrew and I found the Nippon Modus 120 X knocked my launch and spin down just a hair while containing my left miss. For Jake, who had played Project X 6.5 before but was using the Modus 120 X in his gamer set of Cobra King MB and CBs, the Project X gave him slightly better numbers to get back in his bag.
Sean also found great success with the 3DP Tour irons as he continued his mission to learn more about what clubs should go into his bag.
The 3DP irons weren’t the only show stoppers, as Wadeh cranked up his ball speed to 165 mph with the new OPTM LS driver. Maddi also worked with Ben to gap out the top of her bag with a 3-wood, 5-wood and 9-wood.
The Cobra team put on an epic day as we pass the halfway mark of our trip. By this point, our bags are starting to fill out, but Callaway and Srixon remain on deck. Stay tuned.
