Adidas golf is not shying away from the tie-dye trend that’s taken over our Instagram feeds for the last few months. Granted, back when they designed their limited-edition CodeChaos shoes, they had no idea there was going to be a global pandemic, causing many of us to be #playingthrough in a tie dye lounge set rather than on a golf course.

Inspired by the PGA championship’s San Francisco location, Adidas wanted to create a shoe that felt pertinent to the city’s history. In 1967, thousands of people pilgrimaged to San Francisco as part of the hippie movement, and we now refer to that time as the Summer of Love.

Paying homage to that time, the playful shoes are adorned with the words “Summer of Golf,” and have a partially tie-dyed outsole. They feature Adidas’ proprietary boost cushioning and twist grip technology for traction, support and all-day comfort.

Set your calendars for Saturday, June 20th — the first official day of summer — to get a pair of these kicks before they’re gone.

After enduring these last few months, it’s obvious that golfers everywhere are itching to spend more time than ever on the course, truly making the summer of 2020 the summer of golf.
