For ClubTest 2021, we tested and reviewed 21 new putters to help you find the right one for your game. (For more on our testing process, click here.) Below are the results for the TaylorMade Spider S putter. You can find the full list of putters and test results here.

TaylorMade Spider S

Our take: The Spider S’s unique construction not only boosts stability, our testers found it to improve alignment too. “The open section helps frame the ball at address as well as any putter I tested today,” one tester said. Being that our crew hit dozens of putters during our ClubTest, those are big words, but hey, TaylorMade indeed calls the Spider S its most forgiving putter.

TaylorMade Spider S Putter

The Spider S’s unique construction not only boosts stability, our testers found it to improve alignment too. “The open section helps frame the ball at address as well as any putter I tested today,” one tester said. Being that our crew hit dozens of putters during our ClubTest, those are big words, but hey, TaylorMade indeed calls the Spider S its most forgiving putter.

The details: The open section and white-colored True Path alignment aid on the crown both mimic the exact width of a golf ball. As our testers discovered, the concept makes it super easy to line up the ball directly in front of the sweet spot at address. Make no mistake: This putter is built for forgiveness with extreme back weighting and a fluted section of the shaft to enhance feel and control.

Where to buy it: Click here. Or better yet, get fit for the putter by the experts at our sister company, True Spec Golf.
