The PGA Tour’s yearly return to Hawaii always coincides with Robert J. Bettinardi’s first limited release putter of the year — better known as the “Tiki.”
Bettinardi’s latest island-inspired creation is designed around the Studio Stock 18, a new heel-toe weighted, blade-style addition to the putter manufacturer’s retail lineup for 2021-22.
The one-piece, 362-gram 2021 Tiki Studio Stock 18 Slant is milled from soft carbon steel and features a slant neck design — the retail SS18 comes with a plumbers neck — with a Honolulu blue, electric pink, and white paint scheme running along the inside portion of the neck.
The colors continue in the pocket cavity and sole, which also offers a sound slot for golfers who prefer a more responsive sound at impact.
Key Bettinardi engravings can be found on the putter as well, including a tropical design on the bumpers, island-inspired Hex B in the cavity, and an Orca whale emblazoned on the sole. An intricate tropical design also stretches across the entire face.
Each putter is finished in a “True Black PVD” and comes paired with a limited-edition Tiki leather headcover and black Gripmaster perforated grip with pink stitch.
The Tiki Studio Stock 18 Slant ($800) is limited to just 350 pieces and will be available Jan. 12 through “The Hive” on Bettinardi’s official website.
