Cleveland Frontline

4.0, Elevado, Iso, Cero

Our take: Many putter manufacturers look backward when distributing weight. Cleveland, in its new Frontline, is looking forward, with a front-facing weighting scheme that pulls mass closer to the face for better stability. “The face lends instant feedback and really helps with distance control,” said a tester. Of the streamlined appearance, another tester cheered the putters’ subdued look, saying, “Matte black is a really good look on the eyes.”

$180–200
The forward center of gravity in the Frontline putters helps you hit straighter putts. The putters’ tungsten face weights increase accuracy, which means you’ll sink more putts in fewer strokes.

The details: A tungsten forward-weighting plan sets the CG closer to the front of the putterface, resulting in a purer end-over-end roll with added stability — key factors in getting the ball started on line. The proprietary Speed Optimized Face technology pattern promotes consistent ball speed while a 2135 alignment system gives you a perfect look no matter where you set your eyes at address. Offered in four primary styles with multiple hosel connections, all in matte black.
