Bettinardi is releasing new BB Series and Inovai putters for 2022.

Two of Bettinardi’s most popular putter lines (BB Series and Inovai) have undergone some major changes heading into the new year. With an assist from some of the best players on Tour — the list includes Matt Kuchar, Fred Couples, Sam Horsfield and Jason Kokrak — Robert J. Bettinardi and his son, Sam, incorporated new technologies and head shapes to increase the range of options available for tour pros and recreational golfers alike.

The BB Series is comprised of four models that are precision milled from a single piece of 303 stainless steel. Golfers with a tour card have been using the material blend for years, but it’s the first time Bettinardi has ever offered it at retail. According to the putter manufacturer, the 303 material delivers a solid, responsive feel at impact.

“Bettinardi Golf is proud to continue the tradition of American-made craftsmanship and ingenuity, creating our most timeless and advanced BB Series to date,” said Robert J. Bettinardi, Bettinardi Golf’s founder and CEO.

A new “Aggressive Flymill” milling was added to the entire face to provide a softer feel — without the concave effect — when compared to a traditional Flymill. Bettinardi also chose to upgrade the overall look to a thin, resilient PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish that accentuates the face milling marks.

In addition to three blade-style head shapes, the BB Series will now include a mid-mallet BB46. All four putters are available at 350 grams with a Flymill patterned headcover and Lamkin Sink Fit grip (standard and jumbo).

Arguably Bettinardi’s most technologically-advanced putter line, Inovai returns with a new Roll Control face design and look. The scientifically engineered asymmetrical groove design is added to the 303 stainless steel front piece to generate more topspin at impact for a more consistent roll.

Weight is then displaced to the perimeter of the head with the help of a 6061 military grade aluminum body that increases the overall stability of the head without having to go up in size. In face, Bettinardi managed to reduce the overall footprint by 5 percent (heel-to-toe) to promote optimal visual alignment.

“The Inovai 6.0 has been one of the most successful head shapes we have ever created,” said Vice President Sam Bettinardi. “With two years of Tour feedback, we were able to refine the 6.0, offering a sleek, more compact design than its predecessor. We are proud to bring this Tour-proven model to golfers around the world.”

A new compact 8.0 mallet has been added to the line this year in an effort to give Bettinardi a profile that can compete in a growing segment of the putter industry.

“The 8.0 adds a new level of innovation to Bettinardi Golf,” said Bettinardi.” We are now able to enter the ever-growing compact mallet segment with all of the performance characteristics that our Tour players have asked for. This new model is a game-changer for the Bettinardi brand, and we cannot wait for players of all calibers to put this new design into play.”

Both the Inovai 6.0 and 8.0 come standard with a stealth black headcover and custom Lamkin Sink Fit grip (standard or jumbo). A 17-inch Winn Armlock is the grip of choice on the Inovai 8.0 Armlock.

Bettinardi’s BB Series and Inovai are available now for pre-order in the States, and internationally on March 15, 2022.
