Miura Golf, Reigning Champ announce unique club, apparel collaboration
For the first time, legendary Japanese irons forger Miura is collaborating with a non-golf specific brand, Reigning Champ.

Miura Golf is no stranger to collaborating with some of the biggest names in the golf industry, recently working on collections with Jack Nicklaus, Adam Scott and Greyson.
But this time, Miura is going in a new direction, linking up with bespoke Vancouver-based athleticwear maker Reigning Champ for a limited-edition drop of golf clubs and apparel. The collaboration has been more than two years in the making and marks the first time Miura has collaborated with a brand outside of the golf space.
“In my experience, the best collaborations are the ones between like-minded entities that share the same values and standards, and that is exactly the case with Miura Golf and Reigning Champ,” Miura COO Bill Holowaty said in a press release.
The centerpiece of the drop is a one-of-a-kind set of premium hand-forged Mirua MB-101 irons, stamped with a composite of the Miura and Reigning Champ logos. The set will come in 3-PW complete with branded ferrules and numerous custom options through Miura.
“Having our iconic MB-101 iron and Reigning Champ’s incomparable apparel emblazoned with our melded logos showcases the dedication our companies devote to innovation and timeless design,” Holowaty said.
Miura and Reigning Champ co-branded apparel make up the rest of the eight-piece release. The collection includes a nylon jacket, polo, T-shirt, pullover, shorts and two hats.
“Simplicity is arguably one of the hardest things to master, but just like the Miura family, our focus has always revolved around an obsession with quality, respect for craft and an unwavering resolve to master simplicity,” Reigning Champ founder Craig Atkinson said. “The capsule of co-branded apparel we released was designed for a discerning audience and reaffirms each brand’s strength within the marketplace.”

The MB-101 irons are made for the most demanding players and crafted from soft S20C carbon steel. The unique set features a collaborative logo debossed in the clubhead, premium laced leather grips, branded ferrule, gold accents and a satin chrome finish.

The Miura x Reigning Champ Albatross Jacket is made from water-repellent stretch nylon for enhanced protection and has convertible zip sleeves. The half-zip jacket is finished with the crest logo and product ID to mark the collaboration.

The Miura x Reigning Champ Scratch Polo and Miura x Reigning Champ Scratch T-Shirt are both made from odor-fighting copper jersey fabric and feature mesh side panels for enhanced comfort on or off the course.

Designed with a rib V-neck and semi-raglan sleeves, the Miura x Reigning Champ Condor Pullover is made from performance mesh, making it highly breathable. It features the collaboration logo on both the chest and the back.

Made from a sophisticated stretch knit fabric with performance mesh side panels, the Miura x Reigning Champ Bunker Short is designed to maintain its shape and resist wrinkling. The shorts feature a belt loop waistband, reverse coil YKK zip fly, patch pockets, utility side zip pocket, rear welt zip pocket, and a crotch gusset for added flexibility.
