Our take: Often when a hybrid touts more distance and forgiveness, versatility gets reduced, making the club a one-trick pony. That’s not the case with the XXIO Prime 11, as it’s designed to help golfers with moderate swing speeds enjoy yardage and forgiveness boosts without giving up its ability to shape shots. Said our tester, “These are super fun!”

XXIO Prime 11

Often when a hybrid touts more distance and forgiveness, versatility gets reduced, making the club a one-trick pony. That’s not the case with the XXIO Prime 11, designed to help golfers with moderate swing speeds enjoy yardage and forgiveness boosts.

The details: The forged maraging steel cupface is more powerful than previous models, helping increase ball speed off more points on the clubface. The toe region is expanded and the heel is narrowed, and the stepped crown lowers the CG for what XXIO says is their most forgiving Prime hybrid to date. It also comes with a high-performance lightweight shaft made with Torayca T1100G carbon fiber and nanoalloy resin.

Where to buy it: Click here. Or better yet, get fit by the experts at our sister company, True Spec Golf.
