Our take: Hybrid clubs are golf’s version of a Swiss Army knife: You can use them many ways and to hit a myriad of shots from a variety of lies. The HALO 4 makes this a cinch. The Gliderail tech underneath holds the clubhead stable as it interacts with the turf, and the sleek HiBore crown makes it easy to launch the ball higher and with optimal spin.

The details: The HiBore crown pushes the CG down for a higher launch, the triple-fin Gliderail design improves stability as the club makes contact with the ground and the high-strength steel clubface produces an elevated COR for an added dose of distance across more of the clubface. Top it off with one of the best paint jobs we’ve seen and you have a hybrid destined for players who want reliability and consistency from any type of lie.

Where to buy it: Click here. Or better yet, get fit by the experts at our sister company, True Spec Golf.
