Welcome to Spotted on Tour, where we’ll highlight buzzy apparel, gear, gadgets and more that caught our eye over the weekend. Better yet, we’ll help you get your hands on your own.
If you tuned in to the LPGA Drive On Championship this weekend, you definitely spotted a ton of rain gear. Although Sunday’s battle between Celine Boutier and Danielle Kang ended with sunny skies, there was plenty of rain throughout the event. However, before the rain pants went on and the umbrellas came out, we noticed a few different ladies sporting a unique take on women’s golf apparel as we know it.
Event winner Kang and Jessica Korda stepped out on the course in sporty drawstring shorts from Adidas Golf.

They’re reminiscent of soccer shorts, and even have a built in spandex short liner for added comfort and coverage. In addition to their sporty appeal, they have side and back pockets for golf accessories like a scorecard holder, tees, ball markers, etc. If traditional golf apparel doesn’t strike your fancy, these shorts are a great compromise between country club appropriate and athleisure chic.
