Toile prints are having a moment, and now is the perfect time to showcase your in-the-know flair on the course.
What’s toile? The detailed, intricate prints are surely familiar. You may have seen examples on cottage wallpaper or perhaps on your grandmother’s antique china. They usually feature pastoral scenes, but modern iterations have basically anything from plant and animal scenes to land and seascapes.
Blue and white is the most common color combo, but full-color prints are also out there.
The opportunity to wear an of-the-moment trend on the course was pretty much unheard of a few years ago, but apparel manufacturers like Greyson have demonstrated a knack for being on the ball, and the brand’s matching Willow Toile polo and skort are a perfect example.
You can wear the pieces together or separate to be the sartorial star of your Sunday foursome.

As a four-year member of Columbia’s inaugural class of female varsity golfers, Jessica can out-birdie everyone on the masthead. She can out-hustle them in the office, too, where she’s primarily responsible for producing both print and online features, and overseeing major special projects, such as GOLF’s inaugural Style Issue, which debuted in February 2018. Her original interview series, “A Round With,” debuted in November of 2015, and appeared in both in the magazine and in video form on GOLF.com.
