Editor’s picks: 6 golf apparel items for style on — and off — the course

When I shop for golf clothes, I try to look for things that I can wear on and off the course. Maybe it’s the minimalist in me, but I can’t justify buying anything that I can wear on just one occasion. For example, I’ve never owned a pair of spikes — only spikeless for this guy. And yes, I do wear them on a daily basis.

With that in mind, here are six pieces from the GOLF.com Pro Shop that are spiffy enough for a private club, but casual enough for the post-round pub crawl.

Adidas adiCross PPF

The Adidas adiCross PPF spikeless golf shoe features a non-marking durable Adiwear outsole with an astonishing 169 strategically placed lugs for an enhanced grip. The outsole also includes Puremotion flexibility to heighten natural motion, making this shoe essential for the course. Additionally, the shoe includes a lightweight Cloudfoam sockliner and flexible Bounce midsole cushioning for added comfort and support. The upper portion of the shoe is remarkable; it is constructed with leather, microfiber and textile, offering breathability, lightweight comfort and Climastorm water resistance.

Linksoul 4-way Stretch Boardwalker

This soft lightweight 6 pocket heathered boardwalker short is built with a brand new material meshing polyester, spandex and cotton. Two front and back pockets each feature mesh pocket lining, while small accessory pockets sit below the front waist and at the back left leg.

Adidas Ultimate365 Badge of Sport

The Adidas Ultimate 365 Badge of Sport polo provides a regular fit with a wider body and straight silhouette. The polo features an all-over graphic, 3 button closure, and includes stretch fabric that provides comfort and freedom of movement. The Badge of Sport polo is a must-add for any summer wardrobe.

Dunning Kilmelford

Dunning’s Kilmelford sweater is a versatile product; it can be layered over a Dunning polo or worn by itself. The Kilmeford sweater is constructed with Bamboo blended fabric that provides moisture management so your skin can stay dry when sweating occurs. The fabric also offers insulation to keep you warm and stretch to keep you moving with ease. Design details also feature logo branding at the back yoke and player specific waistband and cuffs for easy movement during your game.

Adidas Golf Turf

Let your favorite game be known with this not so subtle cap from Adidas. It has a classic fit and an internal sweatband to keep you cool and dry all day long.

Johnnie-O Grimes Hooded L/S

Johnnie-O’s Grimes Hooded Long Sleeve t-shirt is a stylish option perfect for wear off the course in warm or cold weather. The Grimes shirt features thin stripe detailing, a buttoned chest pocket for small accessories, and a hood for protection from the elements. The durable fabric is machine washable and offers natural breathability to reduce sweat build up on the skin.
