There’s no doubt that every golfer should own a black belt. It goes with everything, and is usually appropriately nondescript. But for those days when you want to make a bigger splash with your apparel, basic black simply just won’t do. That’s when you need to up the ante with a colorful belt.

There are plenty of good options for statement belts on the market these days, from multi-colored braided styles to those with designs like stripes or stand-out buckles. If you’re not quite ready to take the plunge on a bright color, an easy point of entry is going with a nice gray or silver. The color is still relatively conservative, but it shows you’re paying attention to current trends.
