One thing to buy this week: Vessel VLX Stand bag
Welcome to a new GOLF.com column, where we’ll highlight one notable item that you might consider buying. Whether it’s an article of clothing, an intriguing electronic device, a piece of equipment designed to increase golf’s enjoyment factor — or anything in between — we want to share these items with you simply because they’ve generated a bit of chatter by our water cooler (or on our Slack channel these days). So sit back, scroll down and keep up with the latest gear golf has to offer.
Disruptive luxury bag company Vessel recently launched the “VLX,” a hybrid carry bag made for golfers who prefer to walk or play with a caddie. It has a minimal and modern silhouette, and premium details — like genuine leather handles and zipper pulls — for added style and durability.
The bag is made from high quality vegan leather for water and fade resistance. As expected from a stand bag of this caliber, it includes lightweight carbon fiber legs, a four-way top with full-length dividers to fit a full set of clubs, an interchangeable strap system and a supportive and secure hardshell base. Additionally, the bag has magnetic accessories pockets where you can store balls, tees, a water bottle, and other golf essentials.
The bag is currently available for pre-order, and will ship out on June 29. If you order today (June 25), Vessel is offering free personalization and a free cart strap sleeve.
