It’s the final round of the Valero Texas Open, and this Sunday there’s more than just a big payday on the line. Here’s everything you need to know about the Valero Texas Open payout, purse and winner’s share.

Heading into the final round at TPC San Antonio Oaks Course, Brian Harman, who’s 12 under through 54 holes, has an impressive four-shot lead over Andrew Novak (-9). This marks Harman’s fifth career 54-hole lead/co-lead on tour, and his first of the 2025 season. If he can secure this win, he would be the eighth 54-hole leader to win on tour this season.

While Novak might be down, he’s not out of the fight yet. If he pulls off the win, not only would he walk away with a huge payday and his first PGA Tour win, but he would also punch his ticket to play in his first Masters tournament. 

Tom Hoge (-8) also trails one shot behind Novak in third after recording a four-under 68, which was the only bogey-free round of Saturday’s competition round.

This week, the winner’s share for the Valero Texas Open is $1.71 million from a total purse of $9.5 million.

A drop in the bucket compared to the purse for next week’s Masters Tournament. While the exact purse total and payout distribution hasn’t been released yet, it’s anticipated to match the 2024 purse that was increased from $18 million to $20 million.
