PNC Championship preview
The year is swiftly coming to an end, but before everything switches to 2025, we have one more big golf event in the offing: the 2024 PNC Championship. The big news this year is that Tiger Woods will make his return to competition at this week’s tournament, following several months off recovering from his latest surgery.
And as he has for the past several years, Woods will play alongside his son Charlie Woods at the PNC. The pair have never won the family-forward exhibition event, but they have come close before.
The Woods boys will have plenty of competition in the form of defending champions Bernhard and Jason Langer, past champions John Daly and John Daly II, as well as Lee and Daniel Trevino, Nelly and Petr Korda and many more.
In all, 20 two-player teams, each featuring one major or Players champion and their family member of choice, will compete across two rounds under a scramble format. You can see a complete list of the teams at the bottom of this post.
Golf Channel and NBC will provide TV coverage of the 2024 PNC Championship, while Peacock, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App will offer streaming coverage online.
