It’s crowded at the top of the leaderboard at the RSM Classic’s halfway point, as 21 players are within four shots of the lead with 36 holes remaining.
The current frontrunner: Ludvig Aberg, the 24-year-old Swedish star who already has a DP World Tour win on his resume, and he’s only been a pro since June. A win this week would mark the first PGA Tour victory of his career.
Aberg, 11 under par, has a one-shot lead over Denny McCarthy, Sam Ryder and Eric Cole, who are 10 under.
For Saturday’s third round, Aberg will tee off at 11:05 a.m. ET alongside McCarthy and Ryder.
You can watch Saturday’s third round of the 2023 RSM Classic on Golf Channel starting at 1 p.m. ET. Peacock will offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage.
