Thursday was windy and Friday wasn’t much better, but that hardly seemed to bother Taylor Pendrith, who grabbed the 36-hole lead at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
Pendrith shot 70 in the opening round on Thursday, but he went nine strokes lower on Friday with a 10-under 61 — the lowest round of the day by two strokes and good for a tournament course record. His 11-under total leads Patrick Rodgers by one and Vincent Whaley by two.
