Bryson DeChambeau is making waves this week at the World Long Drive Championships. As the first full-time PGA Tour player to compete in the event, expectations were pretty low. By as of Thursday morning, no one is questioning DeChambeau’s skill in the long-drive department.
On Day 2, the remaining competitors were split into four 16-man groups, with the top eight performers from each advancing to the Round of 32. Fighting through a stiff wind, DeChambeau hit several bombs, the longest registering 355 yards, to finish second in his group, easily advancing to Day 3 on Thursday.
