2021 Palmetto Championship final round preview
For the first time, a PGA Tour event is being held at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, S.C. The new, uber-private club located not far from the National Park by the same name is showcasing itself to the golf world in place of the RBC Canadian Open, which was canceled due to border restrictions.
Chesson Hadley woke up on Sunday morning with the 54-hole lead and a four-stroke margin over the remainder of the field. Behind, a crew headlined by Harris English, Hudson Swafford and Bo Van Pelt (playing on an almost five-year-old exemption) looks to chase down the leader.
Further back, Dustin Johnson and Tyrrell Hatton will look to mount serious comebacks against a toothy course that’s already drawn eight WDs this week. Below is the payout information, including winner’s share, for the Palmetto Championship’s $7.3 million purse; you can catch the action from 3 p.m. until the completion of play on CBS.
