It hasn’t taken long for 23-year-old Viktor Hovland to make an impact on the PGA Tour. After winning the U.S. Amateur in 2018, Hovland claimed low-am honors at the 2019 Masters and finished 12th at the 2019 U.S. Open as an amateur with a four-round total of 280, breaking the amateur scoring record set by Jack Nicklaus in 1960 by two shots. And in February, Hovland won his first Tour event at the Puerto Rico Open. Veteran caddie Shay Knight has been by Hovland’s side since Hovland turned professional, and it’s obvious that the duo’s on-course relationship is rock-solid.
But how well do they really know one another?
In Episode 4 of The Perfect Match, we put their relationship to the test with a series of fun and off-beat questions.
Hovland’s best friend on Tour? That’s an easy one for Knight. Knight’s go-to cocktail? Hovland nailed it.
But do the two know one other well enough to be deemed a Perfect Match? Watch the full video above to find out!
