Golf fans waited three months for the PGA Tour to return, and now they’ll get bonus golf the first event back.

Daniel Berger closed with a 65 and Collin Morikawa shot 64 on Sunday at Colonial to tie at 15 under atop the Charles Schwab Challenge leaderboard.

Berger finished first, and Morikawa had a birdie putt inside 6 feet on the 18th hole to take the clubhouse lead but missed it on the left side.

Xander Schauffele, who held the 54-hole lead, was also at 15 under but three-putted the 17th hole and made bogey, his par putt lipping out from 3 feet. He dropped to 14 under and failed to make birdie on 18 and finished a stroke out of the playoff.

Jason Kokrak, Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Rose were also among the group that finished 14 under, one back of the playoff.
