Fresh off their dominant performances at the Ryder Cup, Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood are feeling good. Really good. So good, they decided to spend the night in bed together with the Ryder Cup… at least according to a hilarious video posted by the European Ryder Cup Twitter account on Monday.
Team Europe blitzed the Americans in Paris 17.5 to 10.5 to reclaim the Ryder Cup last week. No players deserve more credit than Molinari and Fleetwood. Both players went undefeated in the 2018 event, with rookie Fleetwood debuting 4-0, and Molinari finishing with an incredible 5-0 record.
There is little doubt that the victors celebrated all night, and that’s exactly what the video in question implies. It opens with a shirtless Fleetwood and Molinari lying in bed together with the Ryder Cup in between them.
Molinari wakes Fleetwood, then Fleetwood asks, “How good was that for you?.” Molinari responds, “4 out of 4,” referring to the Englishman’s perfect record at Le Golf National. Then Fleetwood one-ups his Italian teammate, saying, “I’d give you 5 out of 5, Frankie.”
