This golf tournament entry fee includes all-you-can-eat Waffle House

October 4, 2019

Golfers hungry for some elite public golf (and breakfast) will be pleased: Sweetens Cove is here to quell all cravings.

The popular public course down in Chattanooga, Tenn. is hosting an event called the Biscuit and Hash Brown Open later this month, in which teams of two will compete for the top spot, but only after digging into an all-you-can-eat spread from Waffle House.

For $300, a team of two competitors will gorge on Waffle House, play 18 holes together — nine best ball, nine scramble — and will be automatically included in various contests and earn some commemorative gear in the process. Can you really beat that?

Interested parties can purchase their spot in the event here. All entries must be purchased in advance. The fall rate for “All Day Play” at the course is $110, so entering the tournament comes at minimal added cost.

The still up-and-coming but very popular course, which earned recent investments from Peyton Manning and Andy Roddick, was keen to point out the food truck as an attractive factor, writing, “We may not have a clubhouse, but we have a Waffle House!” And thus the true necessity of a clubhouse was realized. Breakfast might just be more important.
