What channel is the British Open on?

Watching the British Open will be difficult for U.S. viewer’s given the time change. But if you can put up with the early-morning wake-ups, there are two TV channels in the U.S. that will broadcast the 2019 Open: Golf Channel and NBC.

Golf Channel will be the sole TV provider for the first and second rounds. And, unlike with the Masters, the coverage is extensive. You’ll be able to watch an incredible 14.5 hours of British Open coverage on the cable channel on each of the first two days of the tournament.

On the weekend, you can catch the earliest tee times on Golf Channel as well, beginning at 4 a.m. ET. After 2.5 hours of Saturday and Sunday morning coverage, NBC will take over the broadcast for the rest of the day.
