The 2024 U.S. Open begins Thursday with the first round at Pinehurst No. 2. You can find full U.S. Open tee times for the first round at the bottom of this post.

The biggest story in men’s golf this year has been the play of Scottie Scheffler. So far this season, he’s won five times, including the Masters and the Players Championship. On top of that, he’s become a father and been arrested; it’s been a wild year for the world No. 1.

With his stellar form this season, it’s no surprise that Scheffler enters the week the heavy favorite at Pinehurst No. 2. He’ll begin his quest for his second major of the season at 1:14 p.m. ET on Thursday as he tees off on No. 1 alongside Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy.

Another superstar looking to add to his major total this week will be Tiger Woods. The 15-time major champion returns to Pinehurst No. 2 for his third U.S. Open at the iconic venue having previously competed in majors on the Donald Ross design in 1999 and 2005. Woods will tee off No. 10 on Thursday at 7:29 a.m. ET alongside Will Zalatoris and Matthew Fitzpatrick.
