Winner’s bag: Matthew Wolff’s TaylorMade equipment at the 3M Open

July 7, 2019

Matthew Wolff won the 3M Open in dramatic fashion with an eagle on the 72nd hole to earn his PGA Tour card in his third start as a professional. The former Oklahoma State standout signed a multi-year equipment deal with TaylorMade for all 14 clubs in the bag but has continued to use Titleist’s Pro V1 golf ball without an agreement.

Wolff made one adjustment to his setup in Minnesota, replacing TaylorMade’s M6 driver with M5. Wolff played M5 during his time in college and found the spin number to be more to his liking; he also returned to the patented cut that made him one of the most lethal golfers on the planet.

Here’s a look at Wolff’s entire TaylorMade setup:

Driver: TaylorMade M5 (Graphite Design AD-TP 7TX shaft), 8 degrees

3-wood: TaylorMade M5 (Graphite Design Tour-AD BB 8X shaft), 15 degrees

Irons: TaylorMade P760 (2-iron; Nippon Modus 130X shaft), TaylorMade P750 Tour Proto (4-PW; Nippon Modus 130X shaft)

Wedges: TaylorMade Milled Grind Raw (52, 56 and 62 degrees; True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issuee X100 shafts)

Putter: TaylorMade Spider X Copper (33 inches; KBS CT Tour shaft)

Ball: Titleist Pro V1
