Winner’s bag: Lanto Griffin’s Titleist equipment at the Houston Open

October 14, 2019

Lanto Griffin realized a dream on Sunday at the Houston Open. The 31-year-old buried a 33-footer for birdie on the 16th hole to take a one-shot lead that proved to be enough to earn his first PGA Tour title.

Griffin, who’s on staff with Titleist, had 13 of the company’s clubs in the bag at the Golf Club of Houston. The only non-Titleist club in Griffin’s bag was a Sik Golf Flo mallet — better known as the putter brand Bryson DeChambeau currently uses.

Here’s a look at Griffin’s entire equipment setup:

Driver: Titleist 917D2 (Mitsubishi Chemical Kuro Kage TiNi 70TX shaft), 10.5 degrees

3-wood: Titleist TS2 (Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro Blue shaft), 16.5 degrees

Irons: Titleist U510 (2-iron; Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 130X shaft), Titleist T100 (4-9 iron; Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 130X shafts)

Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design SM7  (46-10F, 50-12F, 54-10S and 60-08M degrees; Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 120X shafts)

Putter: SIK Golf Flo (SuperStroke 3.0 Slim grip)
