Winner’s bag: J.T. Poston’s Titleist equipment at the Wyndham Championship
J.T. Poston was flawless at the Wyndham Championship, closing with a bogey-free 62 to win his first PGA Tour title by one shot over fellow Titleist staffer Webb Simpson. Poston failed to drop a shot all week, becoming the first player since Lee Trevino in 1974 to win a Tour event without recording a single bogey over 72 holes.
Poston relied on an all-Titleist setup in Greensboro, including a split iron set consisting of 716 T-MB (3-5) and 718 AP2 (6-9) that helped him pick up 6.8 shots on the field — tops in strokes gained: approach-the-green — during the tournament.
