WATCH: Tiger Woods pranks former European Ryder Cup player with hilarious gift

September 28, 2018

SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES, France – The first Ryder Cup singles match Tiger Woods ever won was against Scottish pro Andrew Coltart, who Woods beat 3 and 2 at Brookline in 1999.

Coltart is now a member of the Sky Sports broadcast team. He ran into Woods on the range this week and congratulated him on his recent Tour Championship victory.

“Tiger, well done last week,” Coltart said in a Sky Sports clip.

“Hey Andrew,” said Woods. “Good to see you, buddy. Thank you so much.”

At that moment, someone handed Woods a brown paper bag, which he gave to Coltart.

“This is for you,” Woods said. “This is…something. You’ll understand it.”

Coltart opened the gift and unveiled a white belt with a European flag buckle. But stitched on the end of the belt was the kicker: “3 and 2,” the score Woods beat Coltart by nearly 20 years ago. Both Woods and Coltart broke out in laughter.
