Bubba Watson had a close call during the first round of the RBC Canadian Open on Thursday. On his second shot on the par-4 5th hole at Glen Abbey, Watson’s ball instead boomeranged off a nearby tree, nearly smacking him in the head on the return. Watson eventually settled for bogey on the hole. He finished with a two-under 70 for the day.
Robert Garrigus currently leads the tournament after a nine-under 63.
