Viewer’s guide: 2019 Travelers Championship tee times, TV schedule, and total purse

June 19, 2019

With three major tournaments in the books, the PGA Tour rolls along this week to the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Brooks Koepka comes in this week with the highest odds to win at 7/1 after finishing second at the U.S. Open. The No. 1 player in the world is looking for his first win on Tour since the PGA Championship last month. He’ll be playing the first two days alongside defending champion Bubba Watson and Tony Finau.

Watson, who missed the cut at Pebble Beach this past week, has won the Travelers Championship three times, most recently at last year’s tournament in Cromwell. Finau also missed the cut at the U.S. Open. The trio will begin its first round at 7:45 a.m. ET from the 10th tee on Thursday morning.

Jordan Spieth, who won the 2017 Travelers Championship, returns to Connecticut looking for his first Tour win since the 2017 Open Championship. After finishing T65 at Pebble, Spieth will be playing alongside Marc Leishman and Phil Mickelson.

Lefty won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am back in February, but he earned a T52 result at the U.S. Open this past week. Mickelson is a two-time winner of the Travelers in 2001 and 2002. Leishman, who finished T35 at Pebble, won the 2012 Travelers. The Spieth, Mickelson, and Leishman trio will begin its first round at 1:00 p.m. ET from the first tee on Thursday afternoon.

Two-time runner-up Paul Casey returns to TPC River Highlands after finishing T21 at Pebble Beach. His most recent win on Tour came at the Valspar Championship back in March. Casey will be teeing it up alongside Jason Day and Bryson DeChambeau.

Day is looking for his first win on Tour since the 2018 Wells Fargo Championship, and he also posted a T21 result at the U.S. Open. After finishing T35 at Pebble, DeChambeau is seeking his first Tour victory since the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open this past November. The grouping will tee off on Thursday afternoon from the first hole at 12:50 p.m. ET.
