The John Deere Classic is already at the halfway point, and with the Open Championship at St. Andrews looming just around the corner, this week is an important one. Previewing John Deere Classic Round 3

The John Deere Classic continues Saturday morning at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., with J.T. Poston leading the charge at 15 under par — four shots ahead of his closest competitor, Denny McCarthy. Betting favorites Webb Simpson and Adam Hadwin missed the cut.

Poston is hoping to claim the second Tour title of his career, to follow up his maiden victory at the 2019 Wyndham Championship.
