Francesco Molinari’s brother roasts ‘Captain America’ Patrick Reed on Twitter

September 29, 2018

After the U.S. took a commanding 3-1 lead in fourballs on Friday morning, the tide turned Europe’s way hard at the Ryder Cup. The Europeans swept the afternoon session and continued their form into Saturday morning’s play.

Francisco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood were the beating heart of the team. The pair putt on a ball-striking clinic every step of the way, and at times looked unbeatable.

They were such a hit that social media even found them a new nickname.

Saturday fourballs saw the pair take on Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed for a second time in two days. The controversial American Ryder Cup hero Reed, for his part, did not have a good day. He relied heavily on Woods and was so disappointing that even Francesco Molinari’s brother, pro golfer Eduardo, couldn’t resist getting in on the action…

Savage!

Fleetwood and Molinari downed Reed and Woods 4 and 3. Reed, who entered the Ryder Cup with a 6-1-2 career record, played only one session on Friday and was benched for the afternoon session on Saturday. He’s 0-2 this week.
