U.S. Open 2019: Chesson Hadley ends U.S. Open with emotional Lady Gaga rendition

Chesson Hadley had a heck of a week on the golf course at Pebble Beach, hanging tough at the U.S. Open en route to a T9 finish. But he made just as much noise after his showing as he did during it.

At first, it’s not clear whether Hadley is celebrating his T9 or mourning the fact that he didn’t get closer to the win. But then take a look at Hadley’s recent finishes on Tour. Entering the week, the 31-year-old had missed five of his last six cuts and slipped outside the top 100. Safe to say this was a big result.

What did Hadley bring home for his T9, exactly? Judging from the U.S. Open payout, his three-way tie for 9th would leave him with just under $300,000.
