9 premium Augusta rentals still available for Masters week

Were you lucky enough to snag tickets to this year’s Masters Tournament? Having a hard time finding a place to stay? Augusta comes alive the week of the Masters, with tons of shops, bars, and restaurants jam-packed with locals and out-of-towners. It makes for a great vibe — but hotels are through-the-roof expensive or sold out altogether.

But you still have a chance to get close to the action. We’ve done the research and tracked down nine area homes so you can make the most of your Masters experience. As of today, all of these rentals are still available for the entire week. But act fast! Airbnb informed me that 47% of homes in the area are already booked — and that number’s on the low end, because plenty of Augusta housing doesn’t even make it to the open market. Take that bucket-list week to the next level with a premium spot to stay by checking out one of the spots below.

Rae’s Creek Ranch

A stay in this home will offer up a sneak peak of the infamous Rae’s Creek. The house sits just upstream from the golf course, only a half-mile away from the property. After a long day at the course, come back home to enjoy an evening out by the fire pit.

Newly Renovated Home

This newly-renovated home is located just 2.5 miles from Augusta National. The large windows, open floor plan, and high ceilings bring in tons of natural light to this cozy abode.

1920’s Craftsman

This trendy bungalow was built a century ago and its owners have done a great job merging its historic features with modern mid-century design elements. I don’t even have Masters tickets, and I want to book this home based on its curb appeal alone.

Savannah River Views

Since you’re going to The Masters, you might as well ball out. For a swift $5k per night, you can experience the Savannah River right from the backyard of this three-story home. Equipped with a game room, sauna, chipping green, outdoor fireplace, and private beach, you may actually never want to leave.

Magnolia Manor

This is my own personal dream home. Located in Augusta’s historic district, this magnificent house can sleep up to eleven guests. Sip some sweet tea on the covered porch and soak in the beauty of Georgia in the springtime.

Price: $4,500 per night

Highland House

Another freshly upgraded 1920s beauty, this home can sleep six guests and is within fifteen minutes of Augusta National.

Charming Cottage

As if the porch swing alone wasn’t convincing enough, this home is less than five miles from the golf course and is within walking distance of several restaurants and coffee shops. At $600 per night, this is one of the cheapest homes still on the market during Masters week.

This 1,200 square foot studio loft is located in the heart of Downtown Augusta. The owners of this property manage the restaurants below the space and can arrange room service after a long day out on the course.

This 1960’s home has stayed true to its mid-century modern heritage with its updated decor. Located just across the Savannah in North Augusta, this home is really close to tons of new shops and restaurants, but also a quick Uber away from Augusta National.
