Tiger Woods is on tthe verge of greatness: Tying Sam Snead’s record 82nd PGA Tour win. But whereas Snead’s total, for all his undoubted greatness, includes victories in tournaments that don’t stand up to modern scrutiny, Tiger has done it trotting across the globe, with hoards of media tracking his every move, and an army of fans by his side.

At that’s no different at Japan’s first-ever PGA Tour event. Thousands of fans made the trip to Narashino Country Club to watch Tiger Woods Chase history during the week…

Woods is on the verge of history in Japan.
