Tiger Woods highlights: Watch Tiger’s epic third-round that put him on the cusp of history
A win this week at the Zozo Championship will undoubtedly be one of the biggest in Tiger Woods’ career. It’s not a major championship, but it’ll go down as one of Tiger’s most important — and potentially iconic — wins.
Victory at the Zozo Championship would land Woods his 82nd PGA Tour wins, tied with Sam Snead for the most ever. Pressure is high, but Tiger is delivering.
After an opening-hole bogey, Woods turned up the gas. He birdied four of his first eight holes to make the turn in three under. Two more birdies and a surprising bogey on the par-5 14th hole was enough for a 66 and a two-shot lead going into the final 18 holes. (Woods also played 11 holes in his fourth round before darkness suspended play; he’s now leading by three with the remainder of the final round set to commence Monday morning in Japan. Golf Channel’s live coverage starts Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET.)

Poor weather might players immediately started their fourth and final round, so after a quick outfit change, Tiger was at it again. He birdied the first, fifth and sixth holes to make the turn in two under, then made two pars to start his back nine before play was suspended due to darkness.
Highlights of his fourth round, which he has just seven holes left to play.
