On Thursday at the 2024 Genesis Invitational, 15-time major champion Tiger Woods is making his official return to the PGA Tour after being sidelined for nearly a year. Below you can find Tiger Woods’ tee time for the first round, along with information on how to watch the Genesis.
Tiger Woods’ Thursday tee time
Because the Genesis Invitational does not feature a cut, we’ll get to see Tiger Woods in real PGA Tour competition for four rounds this week, barring injury. But it all gets started on Thursday.
Tuesday afternoon, Woods announced his tee times for Thursday and Friday on X.
For the first round, Woods will tee off at 12:25 p.m. ET. For Round 2 on Friday, he’ll get started at 2:54 p.m. ET. He’ll play the first two rounds with Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland.
Given that he’s also the tournament host, you’ll likely be seeing a lot of Tiger all week long, no doubt decked out in his newly-announced Sun Day Red apparel.
How to watch Tiger Woods at Genesis Invitational
Fortunately for fans hoping to catch as much of Tiger’s play on the course as possible this week, the Genesis Invitational features extensive coverage online and on TV.
PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide hours of exclusive early coverage of all four rounds. ESPN+ streaming coverage will run from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. ET on Saturday and 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. ET on Sunday. So when Tiger is on the course outside of the TV coverage, you’ll still get to watch him play.
The TV coverage will be provided by Golf Channel and CBS, with Golf Channel opening the coverage on Thursday and Friday at 4 p.m. ET, and Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. CBS will air the primary weekend broadcasts beginning on Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
