WATCH: Is Tiger Woods’s kneeling, lefty escape from a bush the shot of the year?

You’ve seen Tiger Woods highlights from every shot imaginable. But you’ve still never seen one quite like this. Sitting one down to Brandt Snedeker on the 10th hole at the WGC-Match Play Friday, Woods’s approach shot sailed long and into a bush. What followed was the madness you’ll see below. Woods was forced to take a kneeling, left-handed stance and hack away through the brush and hope the ball came out correctly.

Miraculously, it did. Check out the shot here:

The question that follow: is this Tiger Woods’s best shot of the year? There’s one major contender: this ridiculous bunker-slice bit of magic from WGC-Mexico.

Going back to 2018, Woods’s best shot was likely another wild effort from a bunker, chasing down the lead at the British Open.

What Woods’s most recent effort has in common with these two is that it didn’t come from the grass. But lefty? Kneeling? From a bush? Due to sheer level of impediments, we’d say this is the most clever — and the least chance of injury.
