SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES, France — Tony Finau and Rory McIlroy were matched up in morning fourballs on Saturday at the Ryder Cup, and they look quite different than the last time they squared off.
McIlroy shared a photo on Instagram (below) before the match with the caption, “The last time I played @tonyfinaugolf head to head…”
The photo goes back several years to their junior days, and Finau, who is about five months younger, dwarfs the much smaller McIlroy.
McIlroy and Sergio Garcia vs. Finau and Brooks Koepka was the first match off on Saturday morning, and McIlroy and Garcia won 2 and 1. You can follow all of Saturday’s action here.
