The double drops him to five over, and he’s now one outside the cut line with seven to play.
UPDATE (5:25 p.m. ET): Tiger Woods bogeyed the 8th hole and made the turn in four over for the tournament, but he rebounded with a birdie on 10 to get back to three over. The cut line remains four over par.

Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth are among the stars who are fighting to stay on your TV screens this weekend, as the second wave of Friday’s PGA Championship tee times are currently battling each other, Southern Hills, the wind, and the cut line.
The PGA Championship cut is the top 70 and ties after 36 holes, and the PGA does not use a 10-shot rule. So, if you wanna have a chance at playing the weekend and contending in this PGA Championship, you have to go shoot a score.
PGA Championship projected cut line
As of 4 p.m. ET on Friday, not long after the final threesome teed off for its second round, the cut line had just moved from three over par to four over par, with 87 players at four over or better. A huge group of them are currently at four over, making things interesting.
Spieth is two over early in his round, so he has a couple of strokes to play with, but Woods is three over and will have to be more careful. Hideki Matsuyama (two over), Justin Rose (three over), John Daly (three over), Brian Harman (four over), Lee Westwood (four over) and Jason Dufner (four over) are also on the course and battling to stay around for the weekend.
Scottie Scheffler (six over), Dustin Johnson (six over), Sergio Garcia (seven over), Adam Scott (seven over) and Patrick Cantlay (11 over) are already through 36 holes and won’t be around come Saturday.
This story will be updated as the cut line and scores change throughout Friday afternoon. You can check out the leaderboard here.
